Description

CORGI 蝙蝠艇於 1967 年正式納入 CORGI 產品系列。由於蝙蝠艇在前一年上映的《蝙蝠俠》電影中亮相，CORGI 隨後推出此款模型。不過，當時 CORGI 原版的 1966 年蝙蝠車並未設計拖車掛鉤，因此 CORGI 以一個巧妙的小型塑膠套件解決此問題，該套件可剛好套在蝙蝠車的渦輪排氣口上，用來連接蝙蝠艇拖車。

早期的 CORGI 蝙蝠艇是以既有的「Dolphin 20」艙式遊艇模型為基礎，搭配壓鑄拖車（該拖車曾於 Gift Set 31 中與 Buick Riviera 一同推出）。與後期「Whizzwheels 時期」版本相比，早期款可從多項細節加以辨識，包括：船尾鰭片上的蝙蝠俠標誌與圖樣、船身側面的火焰彩繪，以及蝙蝠俠與羅賓人偶之間設有警示燈護罩。
