經典的 Mach 1 車名，首次出現在英國市場的右駕 Mustang 上，是在 2021年夏季。這款以性能為主打的新世代 Mustang，透過重新設計的前下擾流與專屬車身貼花，讓人一眼就能認出它的 Mach 1 身分。
Ford 更將它形容為「登上英國土地以來，最具賽道性能的 Mustang」。車輛配備相當豐富，包括 MagneRide® 可調式電子避震器、Tremec 六速手排變速箱，並搭載自動補油技術，讓降檔過程更加順暢；另外還有 限滑差速器與升級版機油冷卻器，確保 5.0 升 V8 引擎在盡情發揮性能時維持良好工作溫度。
這具 V8 引擎擁有 454匹馬力，而 Mach 1 當時售價僅 £55,185，以性能表現來看相當超值。當時少數能提供類似性能的車款，售價往往都高出許多。
本次模型還原的這輛 Mach 1 於 2021年9月2日 加入 Ford 媒體車隊，並一直使用至 2023年2月17日。
在這段期間，它曾參與 Ford 官方活動及賽道駕駛日，並兩度登上電視節目，包括《Wheeler Dealers》的 Yellow Car Special，以及 BBC《Top Gear》聖誕特別節目。
此外，這輛 Mach 1 也曾借給多家汽車媒體進行道路測試，包括 The Sunday Times、The Sun、The Mirror、Top Gear Magazine、Goodwood Media、What Car 以及 Autocar。
在最後約十個月的媒體公關任務期間，這輛 Mach 1 成為《CAR Magazine》的長期測試車，主要由當時的副特輯編輯 James Taylor 使用。他對 Mach 1 出色的操控表現與獨特個性相當讚賞。
